The United States Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control identified seven individuals from the Western Balkans, based on Executive Order (EO) 14033.

As part of this decision, the State Department publicly designates individuals from northern Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina under Section 7031 (c) of the Department of State’s External Operations and Related Programs Act, 2022, setting out what is usually known as the visa ban. The State Department also designates their immediate family members under 7031 (c). This decision renders them and their immediate family members unqualified from entering the United States.
