Residents in Mariupol are suffering in terrible conditions after numerous food and water shortages.
The situation is dire in this city controlled by the Russians, but what is more problematic is the lack of doctors, who have all left the city.
The councilor of the municipality of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko, has shown that only 3 percent of the inhabitants can be supplied with water, and long queues are created for the supply of drinking water.
Many people are being forced to walk for kilometers to stand in line at water collection points, which include sewage wells, Andryushchenko said.
Olena Halushka, a writer and political commentator, said the combination of lack of health care and drinking water, “chaotic burials” and the heat was “terrible”.
#Mariupol mayor’s advisor Andryushchenko informs there are no doctors there anymore. The last 17 Russians have just left. More than 100k ppl including kids are left w/o healthcare or medications, in town w no drinking water & amidst many chaotic burials. Let alone the heat. Terrifying
