As a result of the increase of controls with radars, dragons, drones, patrols in motion with unpaved vehicles, 28 drivers were prosecuted and arrested, of which 20 were arrested in flagrante delicto for drunk driving and 2 for driving without driving license, 2 were prosecuted at large because they were minors, after being caught driving without a driving license, 2 for opposing a police officer or disobeying their order and 2 persons prosecuted for the criminal offense “Falsification” of official documents ”.
192 driving licenses have been suspended, of which: 56 for driving under the influence of alcohol, 100 for driving above the speed limit and 36 for other violations of the Road Code.
6,178 administrative measures were imposed, on average 883 measures per day, divided according to violations:
56 measures for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, 100 measures for speeding / speed racing, 362 measures for wrong overtaking, 627 measures for mobile phone use, 378 measures for not wearing a seat belt, 295 measures for failure to wear a protective helmet, 62 measures for non-compliance with traffic lights, 312 measures for non-compliance with the traffic schedule inside the residential centers of heavy tonnage vehicles and those for transport of goods, 3986 measures for incorrect parking and other violations of the Road Code .
32 vehicles were blocked, out of which: 25 vehicles with foreign license plates and luxury vehicles, which were escorted to the premises of the Regional Traffic Police Commissariat Tirana, for verification by the Section against Illegal Trafficking in the Local Police Directorate of Tirana, 4 vehicles for non-liquidation of fines and 2 for lack of documentation.
