Several snowplows and residents have been working all day to open the road axis. While in Malësia e Madhe the snow has covered the area of Kelmendi where in Lëpushe and Vermosh it goes up to 50 cm. Residents there complain of frequent power outages.
Intense rains of the last two days brought problems in Rruga e Arbrit, in the bypass of Qafë e Murrizit, where landslides have blocked the circulation of vehicles to Tirana and vice versa, while the contracting company is working to unblock the road.
In the southeast, Korça is covered by snow, while in Dardhë its thickness has gone up to 20 cm. In other mountainous areas of the county the thickness ranges from 5 -15 cm, while temperatures have dropped to -3 degrees. As a result of bad weather, there were also power outages.
Even in Elbasan, the national axes are open for the circulation of vehicles, although in some segments such as Elbasan-Qafë Thanë, Librazhd-Sterbleve, Gramsh-Moglice there was the presence of aggregates but in small quantities.
