Frida Sofia Guzman, the 16-year-old granddaughter of the infamous head of cocaine trafficking El Chapo, is trying with all her might to ‘break’ into the Mexican music scene after a performance before a high-profile boxing match, as well as appearing in a “reality show” followed in the country.
Frida Sofia Guzman is the granddaughter of the slain former head of the infamous Sinaloa cartel, Edgar Guzman Lopez, and the great-granddaughter of Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera, the 64-year-old otherwise known as ‘El Chapo’ who is already imprisoned in Colorado, USA.
Frida Sofia, also born in the northwestern Mexican state of Sinaloa, appeared on the talent TV show ‘Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento’ (‘I Have Talent, Lots of Talent).
She was only ranked third in the competition but her passion for music was clear.
Frida also dreams of becoming a model and likes to travel to Europe and American states.
Her mother, Frida Munoz Roman, was already married to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. when Frida Sofia’s ex-partner and father, Edgar, was killed in 2008.
