The Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi, took part in the closing event of the 16-day awareness campaign against gender-based violence, which was organized in various cities of the country.
It is a pleasure to participate in the closing event of the “Strong as a Woman” tour, which trained 500 girls and women to learn self-defense techniques as well as their empowerment skills, – the minister wrote in a status on social networks.
She thanked UN Women for the work done in strengthening gender equality and women’s empowerment, and thanked the Swedish Government for its support in this project.
