27 people have lost their lives amid the blaze that engulfed a clinic on the outskirts of the Japanese city of Osaka.
Japanese police are investigating the possible causes of the fire, but there are strong suspicions that it may have been deliberately set.
A man in his 60s was seen with a bag filled with an unidentified liquid, The Guardian says, and the fire appears to have started very soon after he placed it near the clinic reception located in a four-story building.
Numerous views from the scene showed a lot of smoke as the fourth floor of the building was engulfed in flames.
Rescue crews arrived at the scene almost immediately and extinguished the fire after almost 30 minutes.
The fire building is located in a busy shopping area. In 2019, Japan was affected by the greatest tragedy since World War II.
A man set fire to a film studio in Kyoto and as a result of the incident, 36 people lost their lives.
