Numerous Kukës citizens have protested peacefully today on the main promenade of the city.
Protesters have come out to protest against the price increase.
With banners in their hands, they demand a reduction in prices, in return for a responsible government, because according to them, in 30 years, Kukes has only been systematically stolen by every politician.
The protesters further added that politics and government do not care about the citizens because they only remember when people stand up and shout, they do not do their job properly by serving the citizens for whom they get votes whenever there is an election.
The protest was organized by civil society, who said that if there is no reduction in prices and if their demands are not heard, the people of Kukës will not stop protesting.
