The increase in prices has not prevented citizens from Kosovo from planning their summer vacations, and as always, Albania remains the main destination for them.
Citizens told KosovaPress that they will visit the Albanian coast, even though prices have reached their peak.
“We have planned… I believe that in Shengjin and I will spend part of it in Struga… The prices have increased because I was there a week ago, the prices have increased, but we knew that they would raise the prices after the pandemic and these circumstances that have been created today, and after war in Ukraine, we are prepared”, he said.
“We planned in the South, I was usually in the South last year as well. I’m thinking this time I’ll go from Vlora or Dhërmi… They have increased (prices) but I have to go there… I definitely have to go there.” he said.
It is believed that this year the number of citizens from Kosovo who have booked holidays in Albania will double.
Meanwhile, from June 1 to September 30, for every weekend and national holiday, the citizens of Kosovo and Albania will cross the border without the need for registration by the border authorities, so that no queue or delay is created.
