Of the sea fish, cod is a priority. In landlocked countries for Christmas mainly carp is served, in its absence the solution is of course always Atlantic salmon.
When it comes to birds, more turkeys are consumed in Europe for Christmas than chickens. This is also due to their natural size, which is ideal for a family of four.
