An unusual event at the “Stade de France” in Paris, as due to security breaches, the start of the Champions League final, Liverpool-Real Madrid, was postponed by 36 minutes.
As reported, a large number of Liverpool fans managed to break the security cordon, although they were without tickets and were able to enter the stadium, while UEFA decided to postpone the start of the match.
The official reason given by UEFA was that not all the fans were able to enter the stadium, however the real reason was that many fans had gathered around the stadium and there was an unusual presence of police forces, or even military ones.
The teams came out in the heat for the second time, as at 21:25 the opening ceremony started, which restored calm and enthusiasm, while at 21:36 the first whistle rang, which signaled the start of the grand final. SUPER SPORT
