The State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, has made another call to the political parties, not to forget that until the closing of the elections, the country is in electoral silence and no advertisement of political parties or candidates can be made.
“Any other political call to the voters, except for those to participate in the elections, is contrary to the provisions of the Electoral Code. We welcome any commitment from electoral subjects in the good administration of the process”.
So writes the commissioner in a post on Twitter.
In Albania, voting is taking place in six municipalities of the country: Shkodër, Vora, Dibër, Durrës, Lushnjë and Rrogozhinë.
In all of them, the situation has appeared normal, where some sporadic incidents have occurred due to logistical aspects.
