The Top Channel correspondent has provided footage from the scene where businessman Rakip (Pilot) Rroli was executed on Friday morning in Kurbin.
The provided footage shows the car that the businessman was traveling in, which was riddled with Kalashnikov bullets.
The perpetrators are said to have guarded and pursued the target, which had just left the apartment and had just entered the road connecting the village of Sandzak with Kurbin, and fired Kalashnikovs.
The victim turns out to be a former prisoner in Shënkolli prison. In 2011 he was involved in the injury of a 22-year-old, where together with another person, they beat the young man with hard objects, seriously injuring him, after a quarrel for banal motives.
Sources for Top Channel suggest that there are 3 suspects involved in the assassination attempt on the businessman, while the police have surrounded the area and checkpoints have been set up in order to catch them.
Top Channel journalist Brixhilda Deda reports the victim was known as a businessman trading in construction materials in Saxhak.
