A cannabis parcel has been identified in Mallakastër by the police, a 64-year-old man has been arrested as the cultivator of the narcotic plant.
About 50 cannabis plants have been found in the village of Ngracan. The citizen with the initials FH will be investigated for their cultivation.
Police notification:
Following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of cultivation of narcotic plants, the staff of the Mallakastër Police Commissariat have continued the detailed controls of the territory. As a result of a month-long investigation, under the direction of the Prosecution at the Fier Court of First Instance, the police operation codenamed “Ngraçan” was finalized, in the framework of which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
-FH, 64 years old, resident in the village of Belishovë, Mallakastër, for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”.
During this operation, on a forested land surface, in the village of Ngraçan, 50 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants were found cultivated. From the investigations it is suspected that the author of their cultivation is the citizen FH
Work continues to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Fier Court of First Instance, for further action.
