The forensic doctor and the employee of the morgue of the Elbasan hospital were put under investigation after the denunciation of “Fiks Fare”.
Under investigation are AK, 51 years old, resident in Elbasan, acting forensic doctor and FB, 42 years old, resident in Elbasan, acting morgue employee.
They, in cooperation with each other, have abused their duty by taking sums of money for the provision of services from the morgue at the Regional Hospital of Elbasan, contrary to the standard procedure, which does not provide payment for these types of services.
The criminal offenses “Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions” and “Abuse of duty” aggravate them.
According to the police, the materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Elbasan, for further action.
