An electrician was injured last night while on duty after coming into contact with electricity.
The incident happened on Thursday evening and around 23:05, the 61-year-old sought help at the Burrel Hospital emergency room.
According to the police, it is suspected that the citizen with the initials S.Gj. has been repairing the medium voltage line in the village of Midhë when it was hit by an atmospheric discharge.
He was sent to Tirana, where he is out of danger for life.
