Another accident occurred this morning in one of the mines of Bulqiza, where a miner was injured, injuring one leg.
The injured person was sent urgently to Bulqiza hospital where he received first aid. Sources close to the hospital suggest that the injured has severe fractures, more specifically fractures of the leg. He is expected to leave for the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for more specialized treatment as there is a lack of specialist doctors and surgeons.
A few days ago, another miner lost his life in one of the private galleries. He is the miner Fiqiri Karaj, who had only a few years to provide his livelihood in the underground galleries.
49-year-old Fiqiri Karaj had returned from emigration in 2014 and since then he changed the mines in search of a stable job until the day when the violation of the rules at work led to his death.
