The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has stated today that the images from the Ukrainian city of Bucha, with dead people with their hands tied behind their backs, are not far from genocide.
The macabre Russian crimes in Bucha have sparked numerous protests around the world as well as promises of further Western sanctions against Russia.
“The images we are seeing of what Putin has done in Ukraine are not far from genocide. It is no wonder that the world is reacting in this way.” Johnson told reporters.
Russia has denied that its forces committed atrocities in Bucha.
