A biology teacher in the US has been arrested after it was revealed that she was involved in numerous acts of a “sexual nature” involving minors and even posted on the network photos of punishable incidents.
Anessa Paige Gower already faces 29 criminal charges of student abuse while working as a biology teacher in Richmond, California, USA.
The identities and ages of the seven potential victims have not been released by the authorities but the ages of the students ranged from seven to 12 years old, according to authorities.
The Costa District Attorney’s Office said it had interviewed students about a number of incidents of sexual acts with minors and the distribution of photos “with sexual imagery on online platforms.
School principal B. Nelson Jr., said Gower was fired shortly after the allegations surfaced.
“We immediately disseminated the information that the authorities are investigating the matter and the teacher is no longer employed by the Making Waves school. “We have also notified parents and students to provide assistance where needed.”
Gower, 35, has not yet given an official response to the allegations, which include rape, immoral acts with children under 14, attempted seduction of a child, and at least ten cases of sexual harassment of a minor.
Gower is not the first teacher of this school to be accused of bullying students.
In 2017 Ronald David Guinto was sentenced to 931 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting at least 15 boys. In that case, the victims received $ 11 million in compensation from the school.
