Employees of a tailoring shop in Bilisht, Korça, have come out in protest today.
Dozens of employees claim that they have not received their salary based on the law approved by Rama. They came out of the building protesting. About 100 employees receive less than 200 thousand lek per month, while demanding the minimum wage set by the Prime Minister.
The owner of the tailoring, Fatjon Shega, contacted by phone says that the employees receive the payment according to the law (30,000 new ALL) and this payment is passed through the bank.
According to him, the reason they are protesting is that they demand a salary increase according to the new law of January where the minimum wage is 32,000 new lek. He said that measures will be taken to respect the law in the coming days.
