Biden confirmed that he did another test for COVID-19 today, five days after exposure to the virus, through contact with an infected staff member.
The U.S. president tested negative in the first test, which was conducted after being informed that a White House staff member who spent about 30 minutes next to him on the Air Force One presidential plane on Friday tested positive on Monday in morning, said the White House.
The result of Biden’s PCR test on Monday, after being informed of the case, was negative, as was the antigen test he did Sunday as part of regular testing, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement.
