Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is today near the Democrats in Berat, as part of the electoral tour where he is running for chairman of the Democratic Party.
Berisha told Berat Democrats that Rama talks about cannabis with a greater passion than for basic food products and accused him of using Albania as his loot.
The former opposition leader said that only the DP can save Albania and that this is the biggest mission of the Party. He also thanked Democrats who trusted him and never gave up.
“Our prime minister talks about cannabis with greater passion than wheat and oil. The opposition with its passivity but also with its bargains did not inspire hope when you came from all areas to protest, the former mayor called or received the message and did not dare to mention the name of the opponent in front of you. We were not at the height of your ideals but you stayed again, on April 25 we were 620 thousand Albanians and after that the former president committed on behalf of the government, anti-constitutional actions in the party. You are the idealists who got up as soon as the first sparks were given and overcame every obstacle and blackmail, you decided to stay. We did not retreat, our movement is a revolution and without fulfilling the great mission it will not stop, the missionaries are never defeated, you remained undefeated until you established the PD as a real opposition force. This was not the only goal, we will continue the battle until the salvation of Albania. One may need a word that is not so appropriate to reality, but no word fits the reality today more than that. We are wandering as if we have lost our country, we have lost 9 years. We are a nation with a western identity, but they have tried at all costs to destroy and kick it. Our soul is in Brussels not in Turkey. “Irresponsible charlatan Rama said a week ago in Brussels that if the negotiations are not opened, he will change the direction of Albania, as if it were his thing,” said Berisha.
