Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha appeared at a press conference from the headquarters of the Democratic Party, saying that the Temporary Commission of the Democratic Party has decided to implement the decisions of the Assembly of December 11.
Berisha clarifies that the Commission will communicate to Basha the decisions of the PD membership for the referendum on December 18 for the dismissal of the leader of the Democrats.
In his speech it is emphasized that the Commission decided to announce that the PD membership is standing and determined to implement its decision, therefore invites every PD deputy to take the voting file of the branch from which he was elected deputy and take the decisions of duhura.
Berisha: Today, the Temporary Commission of the PD leadership, after extensive discussions, has decided to start immediately from the work for the implementation of the decisions of the Assembly of December 11 of the Re-establishment of the PD. By March 22, all structures of this party must be laid down in accordance with the statutory changes. It’s an intense job but the Democrats’ passion, energy, dedication is greater than ever. By engaging in this process of vital importance, the democrats of Albania are aware that they are in an unstoppable revolution, of vital importance for the fate of democracy in Albania.
The commission decided to communicate to the deputy Lulzim Basha the supreme decisions of the PD membership in the most historic act of freedom during pluralism such as the referendum of 18. This act, as you know, was the dismissal for which the delegates of the Assembly decided by secret ballot. called by the membership on December 11, 2021. MP Basha will be sent a letter on this decision. Meanwhile, for all PD members, 44 thousand young men and women who voted on December 18 for all Albanians in Albania and wherever they are, the Commission decided to announce that the PD membership is standing and determined to implement its decision. I invite every PD deputy who feels himself a deputy of this political force and not a deputy of Lulzim Brava, I invite every PD deputy who feels himself a free man and not guaranteed by different interests, to come and get the voting file of the branch from which he was elected deputy and take the appropriate decisions.
