The protest called by MP Sali Berisha in the square in front of the Prime Minister’s Office against the Open Balkan initiative has ended.
But Berisha said that this will not be the last protest: This hurricane does not stop, so let me warn Rama, do not dare to come forward and do not think that with retail you can suppress the majority that misery awaits you, we have no force in the world that stops us. This is the first protest, I invite you to stand firm for the endless series of protests until we remove the narco-state, restore hope and democracy.
With the song “It’s the final countdown” former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, members of the DP Re-establishment Commission and their supporters positioned themselves for about two hours in front of the Prime Minister on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard in protest against the “Open Balkans”.
According to former Prime Minister Berisha, the meeting within the “Open Balkans”, which will be held tomorrow in Tirana, is a malicious initiative towards Kosovo and Albania.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the doors of the Prime Ministry are armored to avoid any kind of incident, while water cannons are parked next to it.
Hundreds of citizens from Albania and Kosovo have gathered to support Berisha.
Among them was a gentleman, who addressed Berisha, saying: “I will not part with you, I will be with you. You have many sins, but I will take them with you and I will not part with you. “
About two thousand police forces are engaged, in addition to the Republic Guard, to ensure that the protest is peaceful and does not end in riots.
Besides Berisha, Aldo Bumçi, Melihate Termkolli, Bujar Nishani, Albana Vokshi, Belind Kellici, Edit Harxhi, Megi Balliu, Ylli Manjani and finally Sali Berisha also spoke on the podium.
