SPAK demands the sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison for the former Deputy Minister of Interior, Rovena Voda.
Sources for Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha said that Voda is guilty of the accusation of “exercising illegal influence over persons exercising public functions”.
Due to the shortened trial, Hoxha points out, the final sentence requested is 1 year in prison, as well as 3 years of deprivation of the right to exercise public functions.
For the two co-defendants of Voda, Florida Beu and Majlinda Hasani, SPAK requested 15 months in prison, which due to the shortened trial goes to 10 months.
According to the investigative file, in the capacity of Deputy Minister of Interior, Voda has benefited 1 thousand euros, a mobile phone and a crate of fish from two people, in order to employ Florida Bey as a specialist in the ministry.
