Democratic Party MP, Edi Paloka on Tuesday reacted to the meeting of DP leader Lulzim Basha with the ambassadors, considering it as an unnecessary commitment in defense of the seal and personal chair.
“If you were so committed that you are committed to defending the stamp of your chair, even to defend the denounced vote “electoral massacre”, you would have done at least one service to the Democrats! Do you seriously think that you can stand at the head of the Democrats with the help of Rama’s police and ambassadors, when the Democrats have fired you? You may be working for an opposition party-association, which is why you are fighting so hard for the stamp, but how can those democrats, who have been under Rama’s violence and persecution for more than 8 years, accept this? Now you are struggling to keep the seal because you have found the justification for the next loss: “Saliu is to blame again“, Writes Paloka.
The ambassadors of the USA, EU, Germany, France, Britain arrived today at the headquarters of the Democratic Party where they met with the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha.
The meeting comes a day after tensions in the blue headquarters, where former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his supporters entered the PD headquarters where they held a meeting with the re-establishment commission, voted during the December 11 assembly.
Berisha said that a decision was made to organize a referendum of the party membership for the removal of Lulzim Basha from the party.
The former prime minister filed allegations that inside the Democratic Party headquarters there are gunmen who have threatened members of the Youth Forum.
On the other hand, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, was harsh with his words towards Berisha, calling him a former communist who is doing everything to protect his interests even at the expense of the party.
