An apartment that was used for the cultivation of narcotics was identified this Friday in the area of Ndroq, in Tirana.
Police have found a large amount of cannabis. The plants have been planted indoors and for their treatment several different devices were used, such as heat lamps, which have been seized as material evidence.
No one was found in the apartment during the operation, which was ordered by the director general of police to conduct nationwide checks.
Two OSHEE employees have been arrested for abuse of office, as they had not reported the high amount of energy consumed in the apartment, while there is no information whether there was an illegal power connection.
