Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section at the Kurbin Police Commissariat, in the framework of measures taken to prevent and crack down on criminal activity of cultivation of narcotic plants indoors, as well as to identify cases of abuse of illegal energy connections electrical, based on police information, have exercised control in an apartment in Kurbin.
During the search, in the apartment of the citizen MJ (P.), a room was identified, inside which were found 19 narcotic plants, which were cultivated in buckets, by means of electrical installations with lamps, hoods and water pipes. Also, during the control of the apartment, an illegal electricity connection was found.
Following the operation, the citizen MJ (P.), 34 years old, resident in Kurbin, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Theft of electricity”.
Also, was prosecuted at large, for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”, citizen R. Ll., 46 years old, resident in Lac, with billing duty of OSHEE.
Police services have seized as material evidence narcotic plants, electrical and hydraulic equipment that is suspected of serving for the cultivation of narcotic plants indoors.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Kurbin Judicial District Court, for further actions.
