The performance of the opera “Ball with masks”, full production by Teatro Regio di Parma comes on the stage of TKOB starting from June 1. This play is the concretization of the protocol of cooperation between the two theaters.
“We are here in Tirana to stage the Balloon with Verdi Masks, which is a production of the Parma Theater. It was a very nice revelation a few years ago for this 1913 paper layout, on which we then created the costumes. It is a masked ball full of poetry. “Because there is something in the European collective memory.” said director Bianchi.
The complete production with the scenography of 1913, reconstructed some time ago, the costumes, the stage direction, the lighting and the Italian technical staff will be realized together with the TKOB team.
“We are facing something we have not seen. We are used to cinema, special effects, television, volume scenography. While here it is about something extremely suggestive. “Because the perspective is all painted and comes as an antique work, just like a dream.” said Mariana Bianchi.
Giuseppe Verdi was born in Le Roncole, on October 10, 1813. Verdi showed from an early age his extraordinary talent for music. Attending the rich library of the Jesuit school in Busseto had an influence on his cultural formation. Choosing a show from him is an added brand.

The project with Teatro Regio Di Parma will continue in 2023 with the opera “Traviata” and in 2024 with the opera “Rigoleto”.
