About 46.9 percent of people in Serbia are fully vaccinated. Authorities there have recently increased hospital capacity and imposed mandatory vaccination passports when the fourth wave of the pandemic hit the region.
Experts believe that low vaccination rates are among the leading causes of high mortality rates. Measures for coronavirus, in different states, are taken based on the assessment of facts by policy. For some European countries, such as the United Kingdom and Denmark, the pandemic seems to be over.
