In the suburbs of Lushnja, the situation of inflows in the rivers that pass in this district, is currently normalized.
In the Shkumbin River the water level is below two meters in its bed. But it is not the same situation in the areas where the Seman River flows.
Specifically in the Bubullimë administrative unit in the village of Imsht, the level of the Seman River has risen from its bed, approaching the embankment.
According to the residents, the river inflows during the night have caused the level to rise, reaching up to 2 meters below the level of the embankment, causing all the crops along the river to be flooded.
Entire plots of land planted with wheat and other fodder are no longer visible. What calms residents down a bit is the reduction in inflows today which means less risk to their homes.
The mayor of Lushnja, Eriselda Sefa, was also present to see the situation on the ground. She stated that the situation is being monitored in terms of inflows and risk areas. According to Sefa, there are no areas where homes are endangered.
From the winds and rains there have been problems with the disconnection of energy in some villages where work is being done to recover the defects.
