Many family members, artists and friends commemorated today the director and producer Vjosa Berisha.

Fatos Berisha, the husband of the deceased, amid emotions, said that Vjosa had a fighting spirit, which never surrendered before the challenges.
“All of us who are here have known Vjosa, her fighting spirit. She has never given up on challenges. He did not give up even before this challenge, as my friend in London said, ‘if it were not for the challenges, Vjosa would not have been like that’. “She has not given in to this challenge either.”he said.
The closest collaborator of the deceased, producer Yll Uka said that Vjosa’s cultural works will live forever.
“Her departure from this life is a great loss. “The remembrance of her is everlasting, and her great works shall live forever.”
The mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, also paid tribute to Vjosa Berisha.
“Pristina and the artistic community lost an icon, a strong voice, a diligent producer, a leader in the field of art who with her tireless work paved the way for success for many women and girls in this country.”
While, Gentiana Pallaska, advisor to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrullah Çeku, while reading his letter, said that Vjosa Berisha has left behind a sensational professional legacy.
“Vjosa has left behind a sensational professional legacy in the production of films, programs, documentaries and various media fields. “Her unstoppable work at PRIFEST to provide support for film initiatives, which ended up receiving countless awards on the world’s largest screens.”
The director and producer, Vjosa Berisha, passed away last week, after a serious illness.
