Russia has developed a vaccine against COVID, Sputnik V, but it seems that the Russians themselves are very skeptical about it.
According to a study conducted by the Levada Center Institute, 60% of Russians do not want to get the vaccine, most of them between the ages of 18 and 24. Most cited side effects, including fever and fatigue, as the main reason why they did not want to be vaccinated.
The study, conducted on 1,601 people in 50 regions, found that 64 percent of people believe the coronavirus is a biological weapon. The country, with a population of about 145 million, launched a mass vaccination with Sputnik V in December. By February 10, more than two million Russians had received the first dose.
