Lumir Abdixhiku, chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo has reacted after the arrest of PSD Chairman Dardan Molliqaj.
According to him, this is a pure political revenge by Kurti, who dare to use police power for political threats and arrests.
“The violent arrest of PSD Chairman Dardan Molliqaj, has the taste of a pure political revenge; therefore this act, for me and the LDK is unacceptable and against the basic standards of democracy.
Kurti and his Government must not use police power for political threats and arrests; especially when they have as an alternative the normal and human pursuit of procedural avenues according to the already known rules.
“I call on law enforcement agencies to maintain their professional and independent integrity and not to become part of this political theater of a paranoid Government.” writes Abdixhiku.
