We saw fit to accompany the release of the anti-corruption report with this conference because it is very important to share with the public the difficulties and to put in perspective this ongoing challenge that never ends.
In no country in the world has corruption been finally resolved but in the meantime to understand that Albania has begun to divide very clearly at a stage when corruption was a system of citizen relations with the state in every contact with it.
It was not until 30 years ago but it was until a few years ago when the most basic services citizens had to stand in very long queues in the rain or in the sun.
300 thousand contacts took place per month between the citizens and the state where there was constant arbitrariness and complete lack of quality in service and procrastination with cash. On the other hand, to get to the heart of the system, he was caught in the cancer of a deeply corrupt and widely rotten justice, transformed into a bargain where justice was sold and bought.
The whole system made it impossible for honest people to be promoted. So we focused on two directions, the performance of the justice system and the service system.
For something we agree that everyone, who thought until a few years ago that in this country would be punished by justice political figures of the highest rank, that the day would come when no one would feel untouchable and that members of the government would be investigated and charged by a prosecutor separated from politics and focused on its mission to do justice.
