COVID19/ Ministry of Health: 2100 tests, 973 infected citizens, two deaths and 416 recoveries in the last 24 hours
Due to the increase in the number of citizens affected by Covid19, the Ministry of Health again calls on citizens not to neglect the anticovid vaccination, especially in this period of increased contacts, due to movements during the summer season.
Anyone over the age of 12 can be vaccinated at health centers across the country. The MSHMS also appeals to all vaccinated citizens to go to the health centers to be vaccinated with the booster dose.
Anti-COVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
If you have signs of illness or have had contact with a person affected by Covid19, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency at the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 2100 tests have been carried out, of which 973 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19, in these municipalities:
394 in Tirana, 97 in Fier, 56 in Durrës, 44 in Berat, 34 in Kamëz, 33 in Vlorë, 29 in Shkodër, 25 in Lushnje, 24 in Lezhë, 23 in Saranda, from 18 citizens in Patos, Gjirokastër, 15 in Krujë, from 12 citizens in Vorë, Elbasan, 10 in Tepelën, from 9 citizens in Korçë, Dimal, Peqin, from 6 citizens in Kurbin, Kavajë, Dibër, Roskovec, Belsh, from 5 citizens in Divjakë, Himarë, from 4 citizens in Vau i Dejës, Mat, Mallakastër, Selenica, Përmet, Kolonje, from 3 citizens in Fushë Arrëz, Tropoja, Shijak, Pogradec, Kuçovo, Librazhd, from 2 citizens in Has, Delvinë, Këlcyrë, Devoll, Skrapar, from 1 citizen in Malësi e Madhe, Kukës, Mirdita, Rrogozhinë, Konispol, Memaliaj, Maliq, Cerrik, Gramsh, Prrenjas.
There are 5,332 active citizens with Covid19 throughout the country.
Currently, 29 patients are receiving treatment at the COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours, there have been two deaths from Sars-Cov2: a 71-year-old citizen from Gjirokastra, a 75-year-old citizen from Tirana.
416 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recoveries to 276,889 since the beginning of the epidemic.
