Fans of the Trabzonspor team in Turkey have returned to the topic of social media from the magnificent celebrations of the Super Lig title at the weekend.
The 2-2 draw against Antalyaspor on Saturday put the Black Sea side nine points ahead of close rivals Fenerbache, with just three games left to play.
But as Trabzonspor won in head-to-head clashes, they were able to secure their seventh title in the club’s history, and the first since 1984, having won five times in a row in the 1976 seasons and beyond.
Known for their emotional support to football, Trabzonspor met forecasts by sparking widespread celebrations that have gone viral on social media.
The celebration started at the Medical Park stadium after the match where former Napoli striker Marek Hamsik lit the fireworks.

Then on the streets of their hometown Trabzon, chain parties began with thousands of fans waving their cell phones in sync dancing to sports music.
The festivities continued on the stage set up specially similar to a music festival where a DJ led the triumph party.
