Two Kapshtica Border Police officers have been detained by the CIA, after being accused of allowing a wanted citizen to pass.
CIA Regional Directorate Elbasan-Korça executed the criminal decision of the Elbasan Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office, after the Court of the Elbasan Judicial District with a decision dated 21.12.2021 has decided to impose the measure “Prison arrest” against persons under investigation:
– N / Commissar BD, 52 years old, on duty shift manager at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point in the Border and Migration Directorate of Korça, suspected of committing the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”;
– Inspector ÇLL, 23 years old, acting Assistant Control Specialist at the Kapshtica Border Crossing Point in the Directorate of Border and Migration Korça, suspected of committing the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”.
In the framework of criminal proceedings no. 1817 year 2021, registered for the criminal offense of “Abuse of duty”, on 31.08.2021, these police officers in violation of duty have allowed the passage at this border point of the citizen AQ, to whom the Court of First Instance Elbasan had imposed the personal security measure “Prison arrest”, harming the interests of the criminal investigation against him.
The minutes of the execution together with the acts of the criminal proceeding were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Elbasan Judicial District for further prosecution.
