After the ceremony in the Parliament of Albania for the swearing in of President Bajram Begaj, the Presidency is ready to receive the new head of state.
Begaj is expected to go to Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, to arrive at the Presidency building, where he will be officially handed over by the acting President Ilir Meta.
The performance of the national anthem will be accompanied by 21 cannon shots, and immediately afterwards the President of the Constitutional Court, Vitore Tusha, will hand over the country’s Constitution to President Begaj.
The new head of state is expected to deliver the speech of the occasion, officially marking Ilir Meta’s departure from office.
