Over 50 motorcycles have been blocked and 30 people have been escorted to the Divjaka police station, following an action by the traffic police.
The lack of legal documentation for driving these motor vehicles has led to the detention of dozens of people in Divjaka. Some of them claim that the police chased them to their apartments, even through agricultural lands to penalize them.
For decades they have been riding motorcycles without being bothered by the traffic police even when they were aware of the violations committed in the absence of documentation or driving licenses.
The family relatives of the detainees, but also some owners of these motorcycles have gone to the police doors to start the procedures of equipping them with motorcycle documentation.
These tools are used by the inhabitants of the area mainly for agricultural work but also to go to their lands.
On the other hand, in Divjake the number of fatal accidents of motorists has increased, not counting the number of injured.
