Albania appears to be joining countries that have legalized cannabis for medical purposes.
The warning comes from Prime Minister Edi Rama in presenting the results of the National Consultation.
Based on the results, 60% of Albanians voted in favor of legalizing cannabis for medical purposes and 29% of them were against, in the questionnaire that according to the head of government participated about half a million Albanians.
“We will legalize cannabis for medical use, we will open new work fronts for the purpose of economic growth. “What the citizens have said will be done,” Rama said in response to the media interest.
