The conference, with the participation of high-level heads of state and government, is dedicated to the common goal of supporting the UN humanitarian response in Ukraine and to discuss further steps towards supporting Ukraine’s efforts to address the economic challenges posed. from the war.
The conference will discuss concrete measures to respond to the humanitarian disaster caused by the war, where, according to the UN, millions of people are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, including food, medical supplies and shelter.
In response to the rapidly growing needs, the UN has set up special structures to enter the worst-hit areas to help save lives, deploying experts, for coordination, community engagement, protection and information management. Meanwhile, more is required from the international community to respond to the intensity of these needs.
Albania will also be ranked alongside the contributing countries, a commitment that Prime Minister Edi Rama will express during this Conference.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will also address the Conference via a video message.
