Albania this Thursday condemned the use of false news by Russia to deny the bombing of the Honorary Consulate of Albania in Kharkiv.
In a press release, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs says the footage speaks for itself.
“This destruction of premises as well as documents in the archives is a flagrant violation of Article 61, Chapter III of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. Misinformation and false news about this attack are unacceptable!“, Is quoted from the statement.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova denied allegations by the Albanian Foreign Ministry that “Russia is responsible for the bombing of Albania’s honorary consulate in Kharkiv.”
“Russia vehemently denies allegations by Albanian Foreign Ministry that Russian armed forces allegedly damaged the building of the country’s honorary consulate in Kharkiv“, Said the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
On March 7, Russian military forces were accused by the Albanian Foreign Ministry of being responsible for the bombing of the Albanian Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv.
“Albania strongly condemns the Russian aggression that led to the destruction of the Honorary Consulate of Albania in Kharkiv. The authors will be held accountable”.
