According to experts, another little known problem affecting overweight is lack of sleep. If children of primary school age sleep less than nine hours a night, they are twice as likely to be overweight as children who sleep eleven hours, researchers have found. And according to the study “Italian children sleep the least of all, while Swedish children sleep the longest“.
