The change of the court map in the country that understands the reduction of some courts has brought the reaction of the lawyers of Fier by announcing the boycott for almost a week of court cases.
The head of the Chamber of Advocates in Fier, Ermal Hamataj in a statement to the media said that from today in Albania there are 3000 lawyers who will boycott court hearings as the last attempt to “change the mind” of the HJC for the so-called “New Court Map”.
Hamataj said that only security measures are not boycotted, while if the Ministry of Justice and the High Council of the Judiciary do not change this law, then the steps they will take will continue for a month.
