US Ambassador Yuri Kim made public details from the meeting with the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla in the presidency of the Assembly.

The meetings are held while the Assembly is expected to start the procedures for the election of the new President, a process which should officially start on May 24 and within 7 days, the first ballot should be held.
The meeting between Kim and Alibeaj had a clear conclusion from the American side.
“Let ‘s move forward together, not back!”was Kim’s message on Twitter right after the meeting, implying that “the past of the DP”, so Sali Berisha should be left behind.
