The Financial Supervision Authority has developed the application of the claims calculator to the person, in cases of accidents from motor vehicles in the transport sector.
The application is based on Regulation no. 125, dated 28.07.2021 “On determining the rules and methodology for calculating the indemnity covered by the compulsory insurance contract in the transport sector”, approved by the Authority pursuant to the new law on “Compulsory insurance in the transport sector” , which entered into force on 1 July 2021.
This application assists the beneficiaries, as well as the professionals / experts in the field in assessing the damage and handling claims for compensation. The calculator is based on several assumptions, the calculated values are orienting and aim to inform users about the amount of compensation.
The application is built to calculate the value of compensation in cases of damage to the person resulting in permanent incapacity for work or consequent death.
