The Special Court of Appeals Against Corruption and Organized Crime has approved the measure of arrest in prison against the administrator of the company “Alba Exotic Fruits”, Eduart Dautin.
The Special Appeal has rejected Daut’s request for a more lenient security measure by deciding that he should stay behind the cell at least until the end of the investigation. Dauti was arrested about a month ago on charges of drug trafficking within the structured criminal group.
According to the prosecution, in containers with bananas coming from Latin America to the Port of Durres ordered by the company “Alba Exotic Fruit” were found quantities of cocaine in six different cases. The 51-year-old has denied the charges before the court, demanding even milder security measures, but the black platoon rejected his request.
