Hekuran Marku, former bodyguard of Saimir Tahir, at the time when he headed the Ministry of the Interior, will be tried at the GJKKO.
In today’s court session, the Special Court decided to pass for trial the file submitted by SPAK regarding drug cultivation within the group.
Before the jury, Mark denied the charges, requesting a written judgment.
“I have nothing to do with the accusations. I have not done any such thing. I was in the physical custody of Minister Saimir Tahiri and the records show my movements and that I did not deal with drugs. I ask for summary judgment, I returned them from Germany, where I am registered with legal work documents, for this process.” – said Marku.
In August last year, Hekuran Marku was detained in Germany following the request of the Special Prosecutor’s Office. His name appeared in the international operation coded “Spirit”, accused of participating in criminal drug activities.
