A World War II bomb weighing 100 kilograms was found this morning at a construction site in Miskolc, northern Hungary, reports the MTI news agency.
The Hungarian army’s liaison officer for removing bombs said the bomb had been produced in the former Soviet Union.
Explosives experts, he added, determined that the bomb had a detonator, which should be removed from this place.
Residents living 200 meters from where the bomb was found have been evacuated.
